Alejandro Santoni

Actor
Alejandro is from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He went to the University of Puerto Rico where he received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. He studied engineering with the hope that this profession would help him financially in order to pursue his dream of training as an actor in NYC. Ironically, what brought him to NYC after he finished his degree was the money he made working for a Warner Brothers Production filmed in Puerto Rico, with that money he moved to NYC in late 2009 early 2010. His compatriots Raul Julia and Benicio Del Toro were his role models to take this big step. His courage and will were driven only by his desire to act.

He graduated from The Actors Studio MFA program. Alejandro has been part of more than 30 productions in Theater and Film. His recent theater credits in New York include: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot under the direction of Estelle Parsons, The Motherfucker with the Hat, Oedipus Rex at La MaMa Experimental Theater, Julius Ceasar, Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra, The Persians, and Anna in the Tropics. Recent Film and TV credits include: AL B.: Eventually Z (2019), Turned Out (2018), We Speak NYC (2018), Cigarette Soup (2017), Carmen (2017), and Written in Stone (2016).

His goals are to work as a professional actor at the top of the craft in any medium, to work with the best artists in the industry of his time, and to gain the recognition and status necessary to become a role model for the next generations of artists. Especially to those who do not have many opportunities. He has discovered in acting a reason to live and means through which he can focus his beliefs and passion for life. There is no turning back now.
